The Author’s role:
• visit the gallery, museum or archive to get a feel of how it can link to your work
• talk to the other partners involved in the project and develop an understanding of their roles and expectations
• work with the educator and librarian to prepare a workshop inspiring children’s imaginations through making connections between your work, and the pictures, documents or artefacts in the collection
• meet with the children at a follow-up library workshop and help them to hone and develop the work they have been producing.
