The Teacher’s role:
• share professional perspectives and ideas with project partners, including an understanding of how the project and its theme supports and enhances curriculum work
• share in project planning
• give class time for preparation before visits
• involve parents and carers where possible
• share note-taking and recording of workshops with the librarian
• allow plenty of time and encouragement for reading and discussing the author’s book/s, developing the children’s work, and preparing for celebration and display
• contribute to the evaluation of the project.
