QUOTE: 'The librarian was impressive, what great dedication and commitment to keeping the library as a resource for the local community.' Author. IMAGE: Children and librarian exploring the London Metropolitan archives

Libraries are the natural hub for a project involving the collaboration of these partner organisations.

Libraries are the natural hub for a project involving the collaboration of partner organisations. The resources and contacts of the library enable effective links across the community with schools, galleries, museums and archives, authors and publishers:

. They provide access to a choice of reading material, and opportunities to share and discuss choices.
. Libraries combine a friendly, public space with knowledgeable staff and access to resources.
