There are five activities at the heart of a Young Cultural Creators project:

1. A workshop with a writer or artist at an 'inspiration venue', such as a gallery, museum, archive or even a day on the beach
2. A visit to the local library to gather more resources and ideas
3. Supported by their teachers, young people produce their own creative work
4. A display and celebration of young people’s work
5. Continuing linked activities, building on the Young Cultural Creators experience
