Young Cultural Creators

All YCC activity works to the following aims:

• To inspire young people's reading and creativity

• To work in partnership to open up the use of library, museum and archives by young people and their families

YCC aims to enhance young people's lives in a number of ways:

• Educationally - by developing reading and writing skills, and opening up reading choices, through the stimuli of story, art and drama

• Socially - by enabling visits to cultural places they may never have been to before or used for such creative purposes
